Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your language preference or whether you have previously accepted our cookie notice — so that your next visit is more straightforward and the site works as intended.

Cookies do not give us access to your device, and they do not identify you personally unless you have provided us with personal information directly (for example, by submitting an enquiry form).

2. How We Use Cookies

The Verdant website uses cookies for three purposes: to keep the site functioning correctly, to understand how visitors use the site, and to remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.

3. Cookie Categories

Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to work. They manage basic functions such as navigating between pages and remembering your cookie consent choice. The site cannot function without them, so they cannot be disabled.

  • cookieConsent — stores your cookie preference choice · Session/persistent · Set by Verdant

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors arrive at and move through the site. The data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. We use this information to improve the structure and content of the website.

  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid) — track page views and session behaviour · Up to 2 years · Set by Google

Marketing cookies

We currently do not run advertising campaigns through our website. If this changes, we will update this policy accordingly. Any marketing cookies would require your explicit consent before being set.

Preference cookies

These cookies remember choices you have made on the website — such as region or display settings — to provide a more consistent experience on return visits.

4. Cookie Duration

Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a specified period: Google Analytics cookies persist for up to 2 years; our consent cookie persists for 12 months. You can delete cookies at any time using your browser settings (see Section 6 below).

5. Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences here. Essential cookies are always active. All other categories are optional and require your consent.

6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

In addition to the controls above, you can manage or delete cookies directly through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect how parts of this website function.
